VCreed Frontman Scott Stapp Allegedly Had Plans to Assassinate President Obama

Search
He apparently thought he was part of the CIA.
Last month, Creed frontman Scott Stapp’s wife filed to have him institutionalized. Now more details are coming out about the singer’s struggles. According to TMZ, Stapp’s wife called 911, saying that Stapp thought he was part of the CIA and was planning to assassinate President Obama.
Apparently Stapp had disappeared from a mental facility late last month but was later found riding a bike shirtless around his neighborhood. His sister-in-law called the police and his wife, who recently filed for divorce, joined the 40-minute 911 call. She reportedly revealed that Stapp had printed out over 400 pages of CIA documents before fleeing on his bike.
Stapp then made his own 911 call, claiming that his wife stole his truck. When cops got to the scene, Stapp said his wife tried to steal $6 million from him and that’s why she wanted him to be institutionalized. So far, there is not enough evidence to get a psych hold.
Listen to the 911 call from TMZ below.
