download exe from  https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

7zip download link https://www.7-zip.org/download.html

latest firefox at this time is Firefox Setup 108.0.exe

extract "core" folder  from  "Firefox Setup 108.0.exe" 7zip .

cli>> 7z x "Firefox Setup 108.0.exe"

open firefox and delete profiles folder  from %appdata%/Mozilla\Firefox


my custom firefox location is D:/firefox/

add new shortcut and point it to firefox.exe

set Target as "D:\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profile "D:\mozilla\Profiles\kat"

 

##dont keep profile folder inside  "Mozilla Firefox" directory causes update issue

enjoy firefox with profile in custom folder
